التعريف

एक जगह जहाँ दो या अधिक सड़कें, रेलवे लाइनों या रास्ते मिलते या काटते हैं; यह किसी भी जगह के लिए भी इस्तेमाल होता है जहाँ चीज़ें एक साथ आती हैं।

ملاحظات الاستخدام (Hindi)

अधिकतर इसका प्रयोग परिवहन (सड़कों, रेलवे) और तकनीकी/वैज्ञानिक संदर्भों में होता है। दैनिक जीवन में 'road junction', 'railway junction' जैसे प्रयोग आम हैं। घर की छोटी चीज़ों की जोड़ को इससे नहीं कहते। 'intersection' (सिर्फ सड़कों के लिए) या 'connection' (आमतः किसी भी जोड़) से न मिलाएँ।
