いろいろな方向に元気よく何度も飛び跳ねること。主に子供や動物の生き生きとした動きを表す表現。

主に子供や動物の落ち着きのない動きや、遊び心のある状況で使います。「jump around」と似ていますが、イギリス英語では「jump about」をよく使います。深刻な競技や運動에는使いません。
