जब दो या अधिक चीज़ें हर तरह से एकदम समान होती हैं।

'Identical' औपचारिक है और उन्हीं चीज़ों के लिए है जिनमें कोई फर्क बिल्कुल न हो, खास तौर पर विज्ञान में ('identical twins'- एक जैसे जुड़वाँ)। यह 'similar' से ज़्यादा मजबूत शब्द है।
