아주 가만히 있는 것. 보통 사진을 찍거나 머리를 자를 때 사용된다.

주로 아이들이나 동물에게 명령할 때 쓴다. 'for' 뒤에 구체적 행동이 옴. 약간 명령하는 뉘앙스. 장시간 사용 안 함.

Hold still for the picture, please.

사진을 위해 **가만히 있어** 주세요.
