「hind」的複數，指雌性鹿，尤其是赤鹿的雌性。常用來指一羣或多隻雌鹿。

多用於動物學或文學描寫，現代生活對所有鹿多用「deer」。不要和「hind」（背後、後部）混淆。「hinds」專指雌鹿，不包括公鹿和所有鹿的總稱。
