কেউ খোঁজার চেষ্টা করলে বা বিপদে পড়লে গোপন কোনো স্থানে থেকে যাওয়া। সাধারণত নিজেকে লুকিয়ে রাখতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

'Hide out' কথাটি অনানুষ্ঠানিক এবং বিপদ, সমস্যা বা কাউকে এড়াতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। যেমন 'বাগানে লুকিয়ে থাকা'।

We decided to hide out at our friend’s cabin for the weekend.

আমরা সপ্তাহান্তে বন্ধুর কেবিনে **লুকিয়ে থাকার** সিদ্ধান্ত নিলাম।

They’ve been hiding out ever since the news broke.
