التعريف

口を大きく開けて歯を見せながら、誰かや何かににやりと笑いかけること。たいていは愉快さや親しみ、いたずらっぽさを表す。

“Grin at” は “smile at” よりも大きく歯を見せるカジュアルな笑い方。親しみや楽しさ、いたずらっぽさや気まずさも表せる。日常会話や物語でよく使う。'laugh at'（からかう）は別物。よく使う形: 'grin at someone', 'grin at the camera'。

The boy grinned at his mother after finishing the cake.

少年はケーキを食べ終えて母親に**にやりと笑いかけた**。
