表面がなめらかで光沢があり、光を反射する様子。写真や雑誌、髪や物が明るくつややかに見えるときに使います。

「glossy」は紙、髪、写真、表面などによく使われます。反対語は「matte（マット）」。人には基本的に使いませんが、髪や見た目の場合は使えます。

The table has a glossy finish.
