সুর্যাস্তের পর পুরোপুরি অন্ধকার হওয়ার আগে যে সময়টা থাকে, সেই আবছা আলো দেওয়া সন্ধ্যাকাল।

'গোধূলি' বা 'সন্ধ্যা' সাধারণত কবিতা, গান বা সাহিত্যিক ভাষায় ব্যবহৃত হয়। দৈনন্দিন কথোপকথনে খুব একটা শোনা যায় না।
