直接言わずに何かをほのめかすこと。または、物理的に何かに手を伸ばして届くこと。

カジュアルな会話でよく使います。「what are you getting at?」は「何を言いたいの？」の意味。物理的な使用では、手が届きにくいものに使います。「get to」とは違う意味になります。

What are you getting at with that comment?

そのコメントで何を**ほのめかしている**の？
