短暫的小雪，會下幾分鐘或陣發性地飄下雪花。也可以指突然的短暫活動，但多用於天氣預報指小雪。

通常用複數（snow flurries），多在天氣報告中指短暫的小雪，不適用於大雪。偶爾亦可指突然的短暫活動。不可與暴風雪混淆。
