スポーツや格闘などで、相手をだますために本当は違う動きをするふりをしたこと。

主にスポーツや格闘の場面で使われ、「フェイント左」などの表現あり。「fainted（気絶した）」と混同しないよう注意。

He feinted to the right before scoring a goal.
