factoid 指的是一條簡短有趣的資訊，常作為趣聞使用，有時也指看起來像事實但其實不真的說法。

“factoid” 常用於非正式場合表示趣味性小知識，但在正式或學術語境下，也可能暗示這些資訊並不完全真實。有時與“fun fact”（趣聞）區分：前者可能是假資訊，需視具體語境而定。
