De modo incomumente elevado; de uma forma muito superior ao normal. Usado para indicar algo raro ou que se destaca dos outros.

Utilizado para intensificar adjetivos ou verbos num nível muito alto, geralmente para elogiar ('exceptionally talentoso', 'exceptionally bem'). É formal e mais forte que 'muito'. Não costuma ser usado com traços negativos.
