'কার্যকারিতা' সাধারণত অফিসিয়াল বা শিক্ষাগত প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয় কোনো কিছুর সাফল্য নিরূপণে। 'কার্যকারিতা'কে 'দক্ষতা' (efficiency) এর সাথে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না। যেমন: 'measure the effectiveness', 'improve effectiveness' প্রভৃতি।
