通りの先通りの向こう

التعريف

今いる場所から同じ通りを少し進んだ場所を表します。通常、近くや先にある場所に使います。

案内や場所を説明する時によく使います。「down the street」は必ず同じ通りだけに使われます。他の通りでは使いません。

My friend lives down the street from me.

私の友達は私の通りの向こうに住んでいます。

The school is just down the street.

学校はちょうど通りの先にあります。

There’s a coffee shop down the street.

通りの先にカフェがあります。

Let’s walk down the street and see if the store is open.

通りの先を歩いて、お店が開いているか見てみよう。
