출입문 근처에 설치되어 있고, 누르면 집 안에 소리가 울려 방문자가 왔음을 알리는 장치입니다.

‘초인종’은 전통식, 전자식 모두 포함합니다. 'ring the doorbell'은 '초인종을 누르다'로 표현합니다. 인터폰과는 다릅니다.
