Cambiar el aspecto de algo o alguien para ocultar su verdadera identidad o hacer que parezca otra cosa. También puede significar ocultar la verdadera naturaleza de algo.

Se usa tanto en sentido literal (con disfraces) como figurado ('disguising feelings'). Frases comunes: 'disguising as', 'disguising the truth'. No confundir con 'dressing up' (vestirse elegante) que no implica ocultar.
