周りのことに注意を向けず、楽しいことや空想を頭の中で思い描くこと。

主にカジュアルな場面で使い、過去形にすることが多いです。'about'や'of'の内容を加えて、「～についてぼんやり考えた」と言います。夢（睡眠中）とは異なります。

She daydreamed about living in a big house.

彼女は大きな家で暮らすことを**ぼんやり空想した**。

I daydreamed in class instead of listening to the teacher.
