前に出された命令や指示を正式に取り消したり、反対の命令を出すこと。

フォーマルな場面や軍事・法律関係で用いられます。'命令を取り消す' などで使われ、日常会話ではあまり使用されません。単なるキャンセルと違い、前の指示を反対する形で撤回する場合に使います。
