কিছু উপাদান বা সদস্য দ্বারা সম্পূর্ণ কিছু গঠিত হলে, সেটি 'comprised' হয়। মানে, পুরো জিনিসটি এই উপাদানগুলো নিয়ে তৈরি।

প্রধানত লিখিত ও আনুষ্ঠানিক ভাষায় ব্যবহৃত হয়। সাধারণত 'comprised of' হয়, যেমন 'is comprised of'। 'comprised from' বা 'comprised by' বলা ঠিক নয়। প্রায়ই 'consist of' বা 'compose' এর সঙ্গে গুলিয়ে যায়, কিন্তু 'comprised of' মানে সেটি এসব অংশ দ্বারা তৈরি।
