التعريف

두 가지 이상의 것(색깔, 의견, 성격 등)이 서로 어울리지 않고, 충돌하거나 조화를 이루지 못하는 상태를 의미합니다.

색깔, 의견, 일정 등 물리적·추상적 충돌 모두에 사용. 신체적 싸움에는 사용하지 않음('clash'만 사용). 'clashing colors', 'clashing personalities' 등 관용적으로 쓰임.

The two clashing colors look strange together.

이 두 **충돌하는** 색이 같이 있으면 이상해 보여요.

Their clashing opinions made it hard to agree.
