यह वाक्यांश दुकानों/होटलों में दिन खत्म होते समय इस्तेमाल होता है, और आमतौर पर अनौपचारिक है। ब्रिटिश अंग्रेज़ी में आम, अमेरिकी में कम ('close out'/'balance the register' अधिक चलते हैं)। 'cash' (नकद) से न मिलाएँ।
