दर्शक वह व्यक्ति होता है जो किसी घटना या हादसे के समय वहाँ मौजूद होता है लेकिन सीधे तौर पर शामिल नहीं होता, बस देखता है।

यह शब्द प्रायः दुर्घटना, अपराध या सार्वजनिक घटनाओं में उपयोग होता है। औपचारिक और तटस्थ है। वाक्यांश 'innocent bystander' (मासूम दर्शक) में आता है। 'Bystander effect' से तात्पर्य आपातकाल में भीड़ के बीच मदद न करने की प्रवृत्ति से है।
