'Brattle' প্রধানত সাহিত্যে বা কবিতায় ব্যবহার হয়, সাধারণ কথোপকথনে খুব একটা ব্যবহৃত হয় না। শব্দটির অর্থ বোঝাতে 'ঝনঝন শব্দ' বা 'ঝনঝনানি' বলা যায় যখন বজ্র শব্দ বা ধাতব বস্তুর জোরালো শব্দ বোঝাতে হয়।
