舟の漕ぎ手舟人

小舟を漕いだり運行したりして川や湖で人や荷物を運ぶ男性のことです。

昔話や物語、またはフォーマルな場で使われるやや古風な表現です。手漕ぎや小型エンジンの舟に多く使われます。現代では「船頭(せんどう)」とも言います。
