التعريف

옷감이나 종이로 액체를 흡수해 닦거나 말리는 것. 과학에서는 젤에서 막으로 물질을 옮기는 실험 기법을 가리킴.

액체, 얼룩, 청소, 실험에서 많이 쓰인다. 'blotting paper', 'blotting a stain', '웨스턴 블로팅' 등에서 사용됨. 일상보다는 과학 용어로 많이 들린다.
