メインの建物に隣接して建てられた、または繋がっている建物で、追加のスペースや特別な目的で使われることが多いです。

主にイギリス英語で使われ、アメリカ英語では'annex'が一般的。ドキュメントの付録には使いません。学校やホテル、オフィスなどの建物に関して使います。

The school built an annexe for the new science labs.

学校は新しい理科室のための**別館**を建てました。

Our office has an annexe where meetings are held.
