التعريف

明るい光で輝いている、または温かさや喜びに満ちて顔や部屋、気持ちなどが明るくなること。

主に文学的・詩的な表現で、日常会話ではほとんど使いません。「pride で aglow（誇らしげに輝く）」のように“with”と一緒に使われることが多いです。顔・部屋・感情の輝きや温かさを表します。

The city was aglow with lights at night.

夜の街は明かりで**輝いていた**。

Her face was aglow with happiness.

彼女の顔は幸福で**輝いていた**。

The fireplace made the room aglow and warm.

暖炉が部屋を暖かく**輝かせて**いた。
