'accumulates in', 'accumulates over time' এর মতো বাক্যে বেশি দেখা যায়। অর্থনৈতিক, বৈজ্ঞানিক বা আনুষ্ঠানিক প্রসঙ্গে বেশি ব্যবহার হয়। সাধারণ কথাবার্তায় 'collects' বা 'piles up' বেশি বলা হয়।
