التعريف
Past tense of 'trip': to accidentally catch your foot on something and almost fall, or actually fall.
الاستخدام والفروق الدقيقة
'Tripped' is informal and most often describes physically stumbling. It can also be used with 'over' or 'on': 'tripped over a rock'. It does not usually mean 'set off' (except in the rare technical use, as in 'tripped a wire'). Don't confuse with 'tripped out' (slang for a hallucinogenic experience).
